Receiving: Receipt Processing Methods Cont3

Express Transactions
The express function is a quick method of entering receipts and receiving transactions. By using Express Transaction we can ignore Routing type Inspection Required at PO shipment level and we can directly deliver goods into inventory, but we have to specify the sub-inventory at distribution level while creating PO.
In order to use this functionality we need to enable Allow Express Transaction check box at Receiving Options.
Navigation:MCR PO > Setup
> Organizations > Receiving Options
Now create PO with routing type as Inspection Required at shipment leevel and give sub-inventory at distribution level.
Purchase Orders > Purchase Orders

Click on OK and click on Distribution button and give sub-inventory as MIH-S1

Receive the goods through receipts for PO 3020 and click on Express Button. Here we have two options (Inspection and Express ) to receive the goods

Click on OK

Save the record. Here we can’t change the destination type, now it’s grade out.
We can see in the receiving transaction summary, the goods are directly delivered into inventory.

Until we set the profile option RCV: Allow routing override to Yes at Purchasing in Application or site level cannot do partial transaction for Express or Inspect
Navigation: Sys Admin > Profile > System

We will create new PO same details with PO num 3021 and check whether system will allow changing destination type or not.

Now we will receive the goods for PO 3021 receiving > Receipts
