Define Chart Of Account:

Navigation: MCR GL > Setup > Financials > Flex Fields > Key > Segments

Enter the values as per the below screen click on segments and enter the segment names.

Select each segment and Click on Vale Set button to create value set for all four segments or Setup > Financials > Flex Fields > Key > Segments

Enter the values as per the below screen for value set for segment Company.

Enter the values as per the below screen for value set for segment Division.

Enter the values as per the below screen for value set for segment Department.

For segment Account use predefined values set Operations Account.

Associate defined value sets to respective accounting flexfiled segments.

Click on FlexField Qualifiers buttons and make the Company segments as Balancing Segment and Account segment as Natural Account Segment.

For Segment Company:
 
For Segment Accounts:
 
Check the Allow Dynamic Insert and Freeze Flexfield Definition check boxes and click on Compile button to compile the chart of account.
 
Once we compile the below concurrent programs will run.

Define the values for segments Company, Division and Department.

Navigation: MCR GL > Setup > Financials > Flex Fields > Key > Values
 
Enter the values for segment company and save the changes.
 
Keep the cursor at segment and press down arrow key and enter the values for segment division and save the changes.
